On behalf of the Government of Norway, Meridian Institute and a group of independent expert authors are pleased to announce the release and discussion of the report, Modalities for REDD+ Reference Levels: Technical and Procedural Issues, at a side event on June 9, 2011, at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technical Advice (SBSTA) meeting in Bonn, Germany. The REDD+ Modalities for Reference Levels report identifies key terms and overarching principles and analyzes technical and procedural issues central to the development of REDD+ Reference Levels and Reference Emissions Levels.
