Now Hiring Office Assistant

Meridian Institute has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Assistant in its Washington, D.C. office.

The Office Assistant will provide support to the organization by performing tasks related to reception services, conference room support, and creating a hospitable atmosphere for staff, guests, and meeting participants. The Office Assistant works closely with the Office Manager to carry out these tasks as well as additional tasks related to general administrative support and office operations.

All positions require individuals to be self-starters with exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and attention to detail. Working at Meridian requires the ability to excel in a team environment, and to successfully engage in multiple project teams and deadlines. Candidates must be computer literate, specifically with MS Office suite, internet and email, be professional in appearance, demeanor and manner, and have the ability to interact effectively with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds. It is preferred that candidates have a minimum of one year experience with receptionist duties and general office support. Foreign language skills a plus.
