NaturalNano Confirms Use of Naturally Occurring Nano Materials

U.S. company NaturalNano, Inc. has confirmed that its products are made with naturally-occurring, non-toxic halloysite nanotubes that have historically been used in such consumer products as food packaging, cosmetics, and toothpaste. The article says that halloysite nanotubes are a natural mineral extracted from clay deposits found in several countries. According to the article, NaturalNano has developed methods for filling halloysite nanotubes with various additives “for timed-release applications.” NaturalNano president Cathy Fleischer said: "We have always been committed to using naturally occurring nano materials in both our research and development projects and product commercialization endeavors.” The article can be viewed online at the link below.
