Meridian Institute helps people solve problems, make informed decisions, and craft solutions to address society’s most complex and controversial issues. We accomplish this by designing and applying collaborative approaches, including facilitation, mediation, and strategic consultation.

Tropical Forest Carbon Grantmaking Strategy for the Packard Foundation

Since 2008, Meridian Institute has been providing strategy and facilitation support to the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and its grantees and partners who are working to reduce carbon emissions from tropical forest landscapes. More


NorthStar Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise

In November 2010 and June 2011, a Meridian Institute staff member facilitated meetings of the 45-member, multi-stakeholder Consortium of the NorthStar Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise. Meridian is continuing to provide strategic and facilitation support to NorthStar. More


Lower Mississippi Vision Summit

Meridian Institute is providing process design advice, logistics support, and facilitation for the Lower Mississippi Vision Summit, taking place January 9-10, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The purpose of the Summit is to develop a 21st century vision for the Lower Mississippi River that considers the multiple demands being placed on the system and that provides for flood risk reduction, ecosystem restoration, and other foreseeable uses.
